Episode 60: The Dark Priestess, A 50
Year Curse
The show begins with Kagura appearing near an elderly
woman who appears to be chanting in a fire cursing a lord. Kagura asks if she is in fact the dark priestess Tsubaki. In response,
Tsubaki attacks her but it is easily blocked. She then asks if she still bears a grudge against the great priestess Kikyou
where her face has a look of being surprised, that we get from it, that she has a grudge against her.
Then it goes to Kagome being at school where she
doesn't know anything that they're talking about. (HAHA enough with this pathetic fool)
Tsubaki and Kagura arrive at Naraku's castle where
he makes a deal with the dark priestess Tsubaki, who transforms into a young, beautiful woman. He asks if she will use her
fark powers for him and in return, she would gain the Shikon No Tama. She is instantly interested having sold her soul for
youth. The Shikon No Tama would multiply her unholy powers which she immediatly agrees.
KaGAGome returns to the Feudal Era, and as she
jumps from the well, she is bitten by Tsubaki's shikigami (snake) where InuYasha, Miroku, and Kaede, sense evil in the air.
InuYasha then flees to find it where he rips up a paper shikigami that is really paper charms. The real shikigami returns
to Tsubaki who gains Kagome's blood as her and Kagura retreat to the castle where they share a feud. Ouch.
Back at Kaede's village, she inspects Kagome's
ankle and the paper InuYasha brought back knowing they were Shikigamis. Kagome then looks at the Shikon shards where they
turn black.
Meanwhile, Tsubaki pours some black substance onto
the Shikon No Tama breaking the bottle that held Kagome's shards where they shoot into Kagome's neck as she falls back. Due
to this, Tsubaki has the power to control Kagome, meaning she can curse or even kill! But Naraku wishes for a slow and painful
death of InuYasha, one of his top concerns, number 1 being Kikyou-sama.
Kaede is reminded of someone who could've done
this where she reminds InuYasha of the dark priestess who used to duel Kikyou fifty years ago. Miroku and Sango leave to find
the dark priestess as Kaede, Shippou, and InuYasha stay with Kagome who is still. Kagome begins hearing Tsubakis voice in
her mind and tries to fight off her in which Tsubaki is trying to control her. Because Kagome is resisting, Tsubaki is reminded
of Kikyou.
Miroku and Sango are closer as Kaede and Shippou
fetch for water leaving InuYasha and Kagome alone.
InuYasha then walks over to the flap door where
he wonders whats taking so long with the murder of Tsubaki. He turns around to just miss getting hit by Kagome's arrow. He
then gets visions of when Kikyou had done the same thing. Kagome tells him to run away.
Sango and Miroku have FINALLY reached the barrier
surrounding Tsubaki's cabin-ish hut but are unable to break through. Kikyou then arrives sensing an evil aura, she instantly
knows its Tsubaki's as she looks up at the team of Sango and Miroku, she knows its InuYasha's friends where she emerges through
the barries easily.
Then it whirls back to Kagome (damn...) where
she tells InuYasha to leave again where it then shows Naraku who is chuckling, whispering "What will you do now InuYasha?"

Episode 61: Kikyou and the Dark Priestess
Tsubaki and Naraku look over the Shikon no Tama, blackened
from corruption, with enchantment as Kagome's arrow remains drawn at Inuyasha. Kikyou enters Tsubaki's evil barrier as Sango
and Miroku look on, still not capable to enter the barrier. Kagome once again orders Inuyasha to escape, or run away, as Inuyasha
refuses and charges towards Kagome.
Suddenly, Kagome fires her arrow at Inuyasha. Naraku
is pleased; on the other hand he soon falls to pieces as Kikyou shoots him, revealing that it was just one of his puppets
where Tsubaki is shocked to see that Kikyou is standing in front of her.
Elsewhere, Inuyasha cradles the fallen Kagome, who has
regained her senses because Tsubaki is know distracted by Kikyou's appearance. Inuyasha and Kagome leave to find Tsubaki.
Tsubaki, thinks back to her failed attempt to steal
the Shikon no Tama from Kikyou fifty years ago, who's heart was tainted by her love for Inuyasha, in order to make her beauty
everlasting. After Kikyou reflected Tsubaki's Shikigami back at her, Tsubaki was angered by the scar it made and she sold
her soul to a demon to prolong her beauty eternally. Tsubaki criticizes Kikyou for appearing in front of her unchanged, meaning
she is still the same as fifty years ago; Tsubaki soon realizes that Kikyou is dead and that she is a shell.
Inuyasha and Kagome make it to Tsubaki's barrier,
where Miroku and Sango are, Kagome breaks it with her arrow where Tsubaki is surprised to see that Kagome missed, again, and
let Inuyasha live. Angered by this, Kikyou fires a warning shots at Tsubaki. Kikyou then grabs a chunk of Tsubaki's hair and
pulls at it, where she tells Tsubaki that while she doesn't care about what she does to Kagome, if she does anything to Inuyasha,
she will kill her.
With that, Kikyou suddenly disappears where Inuyasha
and the others arrive at Tsubaki's shrine and are greeted by Tsubaki and her Shikigami. Miroku and Sango ask Tsubaki where
Kikyou went because they saw her enter, which shocks Inuyasha. Tsubaki explains that she was there about Inuyasha and to secure
his safety. Inuyasha puts Kagome down and charges at Tsubaki, as he is about unsheathe Tetsusaiga, Tsubaki pulls out the blackened
Shikon no Tama and tells him that if he draws that sword she'll have to kill Kagome, who is still under her curse and is only
movable due to Kikyou's distraction.
Inuyasha is sickened by such appalling strategies.
Tsubaki releases a three tailed demon to attack Inuyasha and warns him that if he draws Tetsusaiga she'll kill Kagome! HAHAHAHAA

Episode 62:
Tsubaki's Unrelenting Evil Spell
We start off with Inuyasha battle with Tsubaki's demon and receives
a wound in the stomach from the fiends claws. Inuyasha manages to slice at the demon's right eye with his Blades of Blood,
infuriated; Tsubaki ups increases the curse on Kagome. The demon then regenerates and resumes its attack. Trying to get rid
of what they thought was the source of the curse, Miroku and Sango try to kill Tsubaki's shikigami but are unsuccessful. Sango
rushes back to Kagome's side only to find that she's falling deeper under the curses effects, and then Kagome suddenly awakens
in her own time and is shocked to see that her family doesn't remember anything about the Feudal Era and where she finds out
that none of her friends remember her apparent boyfriend. Heh. As Kagome walks home she passes a couple that looks like Sango
and Miroku talking about kids and when she arrives home she sees a grandmother and grandson (Kaede and Shippou, aww) purchase
one of her grandfather's Shikon no Tama copies. Kagome suddenly feels a pain in her neck and collapses.
The next morning, Kagome
finds that she can't remember a chunk of her past and is baffled by the frequent pain in her neck and distant voices she sometimes
hears. After school, her and Houjo are leaving, she follows an urge she had and goes to where a class is learning archery
by a teacher that looks like Kikyou. Kikyou then asks Kagome to shoot an arrow where she doesn’t succeed. HAHA. Kagome
asks who she, the teacher, is and the instructor turns back and asks Kagome who she is. Kagome says that she is her and the
instructor says yes she is her (Kagome is Kikyou) the instructor then asks if she still wants to kill Inuyasha and that she
has to choose who she is. Kikyou obviously gives Kagome strength.
Kagome then re-awakens in the feudal era where she then shoots an
arrow at Tsubaki, but misses. Tsubaki laughs and dismisses her as a shameful alternate for Kikyou. Angered at that, Kagome
fires an arrow again but misses Tsubaki. Tsubaki's demon then attacks Kagome, but Inuyasha saves her in the nick of time.
Furious, Inuyasha kills the demon with his Iron Reaper Soul Stealer and then manages to behead Tsubaki's shikigami. Tsubaki
shows the group that has done nothing to lessen the curse where she then releases several more demons from her eyeat Inuyasha,
Miroku and Sango. As the three are fighting of the demons, Tsubaki's regenerated Shikigami attacks Kagome. Kagome uses her
arrow and deflects Tsubaki's shikigami into her right eye, shouting “My Name is Kagome!”, the same way Kikyou
did 50 years before.
The force from the hit knocks Tsubaki back and causes her to drop the Shikon
no Tama which purifies itself. Kagome is now free from the curse DARN IT. Tsubaki grabs the Shikon no Tama and flees on her
few remaining demons. Elsewhere, Naraku observes this through Kanna's mirror and decides to give Tsubaki another shot at Inuyasha.
Tsubaki, who is now drained of her powers, looks at the Shikon no Tama and vows to use its never-ending power to kill Inuyasha
and Kagome. As Inuyasha carries an exhausted Kagome and apologizes for the trouble being around him brings. Kagome, in return,
tells Inuyasha she likes being around him. The group then meets up with Kaede and Shippo.
And Naraku tells Kagura that he will give Tsubaki enough time to get her revenge.

Episode 63 The Red and White Priestessess
Tsubaki returns to the village where she trained to become
a miko where she meets two younger priestesses, Botan and Momiji who are training to become a full miko. They now protect
the shrine. Tsubaki tells them that she is being chased by a demon and needs shelter. The girls believe her because she is
a sister, and they offer their assistance in slaying them. Of course, they are excited with their first demon-slaying.
Then, the InuYasha-tachi arrive to near the entrance of the
forest when the two priestesses arrive. The girls call them demons and question who and what they are. They then say that
the forest is surrounded by talismans, which is the reason why InuYasha was shocked when he tried to pass. The girls then
attack using small paper men, a few inches tall which puzzles the group, and the lack of defense. But then the priestesses
prove that with their lack of wisdom, the paper dolls had gotten a strand of hair of both Inu and Kagome.
Using the strands, and their talismans, the mikos use them
to create two blown-up creatures that appear to look like Kagome and InuYasha. The mikos then cast a spell to keep InuYasha
at still while the blown-up dolls battle the others. But InuYasha soon escapes and knocks out the mikos with his tetsusaiga.
Then, Shippo, Kirara, and Miroku stay behind to tell the priestesses what exactly is going on while the others try to defeat
Tsubaki.
Tsubaki flees and comes upon a tower with a giant ogre sealed
inside, while Kagura tells her to use the Shikon Shars to set the beast free, Tsubaki says it will take time, and she will
need to concentrate.
